Résidence Adam & Eve

A small naturist hotel-residence in the gated residential park of Baie Orientale, on the French side of Saint Martin, about a kilometre and a half from the naturist beach of Orient Bay, the only official one on the island. It has seven units, six studios with kitchens and one room, around a tropical garden dense with palms, with a free-form pool that slopes like a beach, a heated hot tub, a waterfall and a lounge bar; breakfast is ordered the evening before and dinner at the "table d'Eve" must be booked. Nudity is the house rule but nobody is obliged to undress, and smart dress is requested at the table. When booked as a hotel it is adults-only, and no pets are allowed. The owners, Caroline and Alain, also organise naturist cruises on their catamaran. It is liked almost unanimously: an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, cleanliness and a welcome that makes you feel like a family guest; the restaurants and shops of Orient Bay village are a few minutes' walk away. It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. There is no permanent reception: the managers can be reached by phone, and at certain times breakfast is not served.
