A small complex at the far end of Enseada de Brito, in the municipality of Palhoça, some thirty kilometres south of Florianópolis, on a bay with calm water facing the island: Pedras Altas beach is divided by rocks into two parts, one for people who stay dressed, with a bar and restaurant also frequented by those arriving on jet skis, and a naturist one, where nudity is required of everyone and where the accommodation is located. The family-run business offers a small pousada with rooms and suites with private bathrooms, chalets and rustic cabins (some with shared bathrooms), a tent area, a kitchen, toilets and showers, and paid parking; day visitors pay for parking and can have food and drinks brought from the restaurant. It is reached by a narrow, bumpy dirt road. It is a small, secluded place, chosen by those looking for calm sea and few people, frequented by couples and families in a respectful atmosphere; returning guests appreciate the food and the welcome, while criticism mainly concerns the cost of parking, the road and the occasional clothed onlooker straying into the naturist side.
