Naturism in Denmark: laws and customs →
Nudity required

Campsite run by the Naturistforeningen Jylland (the naturist association of Jutland) on the beach at Kysing Strand, near Odder (Denmark): 145 pitches on 4.8 hectares, flat, grassy and without shade, with two direct accesses to the roughly 800-metre beach and a small pier. Pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, plus cabins, a caravan and glamping tents for rent and a shelter. Sauna, campfire hut, equipped communal kitchen, common room with TV, board games and books, playground, table tennis and football pitch, communal barbecue every Saturday evening and a summer party. Toilets and showers are shared by men and women. The statutes ask members and tourists to be nude when the weather allows; when it is cold, people dress. The campsite is open to all naturists and to those who want to try it; it is membership of the association (needed only for seasonal pitches) that is currently not accepting more single men, to keep the gender balance even. Dogs and cats stay free (not in the rental units), on a short lead. Day access to the beach is also possible for non-members, with a day ticket (1 April – 30 September). Check-in is also possible at an automatic machine, but the gate stays closed after 11 pm. Guests speak very highly of it and often mention the spacious pitches and the friendliness of the staff.
