Small club-run naturist campsite in southern Limburg, on the edge of the Graetheide area between Geleen and Born, inside a small wood surrounded by farmland. The grounds are a tree-studded meadow with spacious pitches, all with electric hook-up, for tents, caravans and motorhomes up to eight metres; there is no rental accommodation. The facilities are those of a club looked after by its members: heated pool, sauna for a fee, archery range, pétanque court, children's play area and the Praethuys, the common room with a bar open every day, where on Saturday evenings someone is behind the counter and on Sunday at noon people meet for coffee. It holds the Prettig Bloot label of the Dutch federation NFN, which commits the venue to safety and a code of conduct. You don't need to join the club, but to stay you must have a card from the NFN or a foreign naturist federation; those who don't have one yet can try it for a maximum of three days and two nights, booking in advance. When the weather allows, nudity is the rule, and no swimwear in the water. The grounds are fenced, entry is for registered guests only, and phones and cameras are forbidden outside your own pitch. Cleanliness, the pool and the welcome are liked, but everyone comes back to the same point: the campsite is close to the A2 motorway and traffic noise can be heard constantly; some also report a rather strict application of the rules. The location is convenient for cycling around southern Limburg and for getting quickly to Germany and Belgium.
