Naturist ground in the yard of an authentic 1888 Frisian “stelpboerderij” in Dedgum, in the south-western corner of Friesland (an area of lakes, farmland and the IJsselmeer coast). Open as a naturist campsite since early 2017, with 49 pitches on three well-drained, sheltered fields overlooking the surrounding countryside; there are also 2 apartments and a wooden chalet for 4 people, available to rent all year round. The old cowshed has been turned into a recreation space with bar, small restaurant, library and children's games; sauna for a fee, heated sanitary building with family room and baby bath. Run by Henk and Roely Westerhof. Dogs allowed on a lead. Opinions are very good: welcoming owners, clean facilities, spacious pitches, good food (beef stew); no significant criticisms have been found.
