Naturism in the Netherlands: laws and customs →
Nudity required

Large naturist holiday park in Flevoland, among the woods of Zeewolde and a short distance from the naturist beaches on the water, the best-equipped in the Netherlands. It is open all year round and is more like a village than a campsite: indoor and outdoor pools, saunas with steam infusions included in the price (the sauna area was recently renovated), massage room, restaurant with terrace, supermarket, bike hire, sports fields and, during school holidays, an entertainment team with tournaments, game and film nights and activities for the little ones. Accommodation is in pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, in safari tents with bathroom, in modern lodges and chalets or in the A-frame bungalows, and there is also a section of private chalets belonging to regular residents. The rules ask guests to be nude when the weather allows and do not let clothed people into the pool, the sauna or onto the island; in the evening, at the restaurant and at parties, almost everyone gets dressed again. Solo travellers are welcome. Most visitors rate it excellent and appreciate the greenery, the quality of the saunas and the welcome given to families and gay couples; the most frequent criticisms concern the prices, which have risen considerably in recent years, the music at the themed evenings and the feeling that the permanent residents keep to themselves. Anyone looking for the absolute silence of an adults-only wellness centre will be disappointed: there are children here, and you can hear them.
