A naturist association club founded in 1950, near the Danube, on 2.4 hectares of grounds surrounded by woodland in the Schwarze Laber valley near Deuerling, in the Bavarian Upper Palatinate. The club has about 45 active members; the sun terrace and the pool terrace are the hub of social life, livened up by seasonal parties (Sommerfest, Poolparty, Herbstfest) and community work days. Guests have 7 pitches for caravans and motorhomes, 2 tent pitches and a double room, the "Birkenzimmer"; the grounds are closed from November to March. Access is only possible by appointment by phone or email, and day visitors are welcomed only when members are present. Families are welcome (children up to 18 free) and the club itself warns that it can be noisier at weekends. The surrounding area has a lot to offer for lovers of culture, hiking and cycling, with Regensburg about 15 km away. Those who have been there speak of a quiet, clean place and very welcoming members.
