Naturist (policy unspecified)

An 80-acre naturist park on a sandy ridge north-east of Winnipeg, among spruce, pine and birch, run by a non-profit association founded in 2010 by the Crocus Grove Sun Club, Manitoba's historic club, when it lost the land it had been on for forty years. The members bought a new piece of farmland and built the park with their own labour, opening it in 2012. Today there is a heated pool with clubhouse, beach volleyball, bocce and horseshoe courts, forest trails and a small campground for tents and RVs, with seasonal sites kept away from the common areas. It is a private, fenced club for members and their guests: non-members can only enter by invitation, and members of other FCN or AANR clubs must book in advance. Memberships are taken from mid-April to the end of July, because summer in Manitoba is short. The tone is family-oriented and explicitly non-sexual, suitable for all ages, and the club states that it welcomes everyone regardless of sexual orientation and relationship status: singles and same-sex couples too, always through membership or a member's invitation.
