Naturism in Australia: laws and customs →
Naturist (policy unspecified)

A small, member-run naturist club, founded in 1964 by a couple of German immigrants, in a rural bushland area of the Central Coast of New South Wales, about 30 minutes north of Hornsby (Sydney). It is not a resort: club life revolves around the monthly members' meeting (usually the first Saturday of the month), to which new visitors are invited so the group can get to know them; every visit must be approved in advance by the committee. On a first visit you may stay clothed. Clubhouse with kitchen and wood stove, wood-fired pizza oven, in-ground pool, mini tennis court, ping-pong and pool table, sauna, picnic area, four caravans for hire and tent sites, some with power. The club explicitly supports naturism as a non-sexual activity ("non-sexual, unclad activity"); children enter free, and animals are not allowed under any circumstances. At the moment it is mainly looking for couples: single people are admitted only when a place becomes available, with the committee's approval and possibly references. The club deliberately keeps a low profile online and does not give a public address.
