An FKK campsite on the shores of the Tonsee, a lake with crystal-clear water in Brandenburg south of Berlin, open all year round and set in a pine forest. Naturism is explicitly governed by the site rules: compulsory on the sunbathing lawn and in the central bathing area, expected in the camping area, while in the bar area and at reception being undressed is not allowed for hygiene reasons. The facilities are simple: pitches with water and electricity, a modern sanitary block, a large sunbathing lawn, play and sports areas, bike hire, chemical disposal point, gas bottle exchange, wifi, a snack bar and a bistro on the lake; for those without a vehicle there are five holiday rooms and an apartment. The clientele is overwhelmingly made up of seasonal residents, and the access road is a forest dirt track full of potholes, something almost everyone mentions. Opinion of the place itself is excellent and consistent over time — very clean lake, silence, shade from the pines, tidiness — while views on the human atmosphere are divided: recent visitors speak of a friendly welcome, but over the years several visitors have complained of very strict policing of nudity on the beach, including towards small children and day guests. Worth knowing if you are coming with family.
