Naked Zipolite

A naturist hotel on Zipolite beach, on the Oaxaca coast, next door to Hotel Nude. The rooms, some with ocean views and one top-floor suite, open onto wooden walkways around a long courtyard pool lined with sun loungers and canopy beds; there is a restaurant open from breakfast to dinner and the hotel accepts pets. It presents itself as a place to feel free and without prejudice, and guests describe it as a clothing-optional naturist hotel. Its most distinctive trait is the beach-club life: at weekends many day-pass visitors arrive, there are pool parties with DJs and music plays for much of the day. Those looking for peace and quiet find it noisy, and several guests complain of poorly soundproofed rooms, no hot water in some rooms, high food prices and problems with bookings and reception. Day-pass visitors, on the other hand, appreciate the atmosphere and the view.
