Lichtbund-Unterweser e.V.

A member-run FKK club founded in 1957 on the outskirts of Bremerhaven: 4.5 hectares of reclaimed former peat bog in Schiffdorf, looked after by the members, with generous pitches for caravans and family tents among hedges, trees and grassy paths. The sporting heart of the club is a lovely 25-metre natural swimming pool, alongside courts for volleyball, badminton, pétanque and table tennis; the clubhouse hut with its large barbecue area hosts social evenings and the club's summer party. Almost everyone likes it: it is a small, quiet campsite that also happily welcomes passing naturists with caravans or motorhomes, and a 9 km cycle path leads straight to the centre of Bremerhaven and the Klimahaus. Passing guests must announce themselves in good time by phone or e-mail; dogs are allowed on a lead. A traditional German club, simple and genuine.
