A naturist guest house (maison d'hôtes) opened on 15 August 2026 by Béatrice and Philippe, a retired couple and long-time naturists, in a country house in Beurlay, in the heart of Saintonge (Charente-Maritime). There are four rooms on the first floor (not accessible to people with reduced mobility), grouped into two suites of two rooms each: one double and one with two single beds, which can be rented together by a family or friends, or one at a time; each suite has its own bathroom, while the toilets are shared. Breakfast is included and the hosts also serve dinner. The house and garden are entirely naturist and nudity is the rule, weather permitting: life revolves around the pool with its palm trees, the garden screened from view, the permaculture vegetable garden, the outdoor canopy and the lounges with a library, comics and board games; it is not a place to work, as the wifi runs via satellite and is weak. The owners describe their naturism as family-oriented and say clearly that libertine behaviour is not welcome; children are welcome (there is even a baby cot), pets are not. The guest house is affiliated with the FFN. The first guests speak of a very warm welcome, a charming house and good food. Cards are not accepted: cash, cheque, bank transfer or Wero only. Open all year round.
