Naturism in France: laws and customs →
Nudity required

A family-run naturist campsite in the Lot, at Sérignac, run by Emmanuelle and Nicolas: 10 hectares of meadow and oak woodland, with 65 spacious pitches separated by trees, 4 mobile homes and 2 studios converted from an old sheepfold. The rule is nudity across the whole site when the weather allows, compulsory in the pool; there is tolerance for teenagers who feel uncomfortable. The FFN card is not compulsory. The 25-metre pool is heated by solar panels; there are three boules pitches with a competition at weekends, two yoga classes a week, qi gong, a sauna and massages on request. Evenings are sociable but without noisy entertainment: barbecue on Wednesdays, pizza on Thursdays, shared dinners on Fridays and Sundays, impromptu concerts, pub quizzes and campfires. Wood-fired bread to order, a small shop and a bar with local products. Pets are allowed on a lead and there is a single-person rate. Walking and cycling trails start from the campsite; nearby are Rocamadour, Padirac and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Recent guests almost always speak of it enthusiastically: a warm welcome, very clean facilities, calm and space, and suitable even for those trying naturism for the first time.
