A 2-star naturist camping village at La Palme, in the Aude, between Narbonne and Perpignan, with direct access to the Étang de La Palme: a lagoon renowned for windsurfing and kitesurfing as well as for swimming and birdwatching. It offers standard and motorhome pitches, mobile homes, furnished glamping-style tents and apartments. A quiet, family atmosphere, with sports and craft activities, a restaurant, a mini-market and a wellness area with massages by appointment. The pool, which still appears in the photos, has been out of use since summer 2021 and the operator has no plans to reopen it soon: the lagoon remains the way to cool off, and in high summer it can smell of algae. It belongs to the Homair/Tohapi group together with two other French naturist campsites (CHM Montalivet, La Genèse). On arrival you sign a naturist code of conduct and some tournaments are reserved for those playing nude, but the website accepts that people who feel uncomfortable wear a sarong, especially teenagers. Dogs on a lead allowed for a fee. Many guests have been coming back for years; the overall verdict is average, with praise for cleanliness, scenery and staff and recurring criticism of the closed pool and accommodation in need of renovation.
