The first naturist village in Piedmont, fourteen hectares of birch woodland at La Cassa, about twenty kilometres from Turin, towards the Lanzo Valleys. The entire site is reserved for naturism and is divided into three tent areas, pitches with hookups for motorhomes and caravans, and a range of rental accommodation: wooden and brick bungalows, chalets, mobile homes, mini-apartments and a caravan with a fitted veranda. The centre of life is the large heated pool, with a stone sun terrace, hot tub and a bar overlooking it; there is also a sauna and steam bath, a fitness trail in the woods and a play area. To get in you need an INF card, which can be obtained at reception, and the rules require full nudity throughout the village, although some say that in practice it is observed mainly at the pool. The rules also set quiet hours and ban radios in common areas. It is a quiet, very shady place, popular with families and quite a few northern Europeans, with friendly staff and a pool praised by everyone; recurring criticisms concern the basic accommodation, the bar's limited opening hours, the shortage of parasols and sun loungers, poorly kept greenery and the lack of organised activities. There is no shop or restaurant on site. It is open from May to September.
