An 18th-century family farmhouse, restored and turned into a naturist centre in the heart of Poitou-Charentes (Deux-Sèvres), ten minutes from the medieval town of Parthenay and 40 minutes from Futuroscope. The two-hectare grounds overlook a natural pond; the campsite, rated 2 stars, has 22 unmarked pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and alongside them a wide range of accommodation: a gîte, B&B rooms and guest rooms, a caravan, a wooden hut, two premium cottages and a two-bedroom chalet. Heated pool, hammam and spa at extra cost, a fishing pond, a swing and a trampoline for children. In summer community life is a strong feature: a free barbecue on Saturdays, pizza night on Wednesdays, aqua aerobics on Sunday mornings and themed dinners; guests, however, mainly remember the tranquillity of the place, small and at the end of a country lane. The family management (Mélanie and Alex) is much appreciated for the warmth of its welcome; the website explicitly addresses those coming alone, as a family or in a group. Pets are allowed on the pitches and in the gîte, but not in the other rental accommodation. Open from late April to late September.
