A family campsite in a pine wood on the lakeshore at Bantikow, in rural Brandenburg northwest of Berlin, in operation for thirty years. Note the classification: it is not an entirely naturist campsite — most of the grounds are textile, but by long tradition there is a reserved 4,500 m² FKK area, screened from view, with its own nudist beach and dedicated facilities (the FKK option must be stated when booking). The 150 unmarked pitches have 16A power, TV and water; there are sandy beaches, rowing boats, canoes and SUPs for hire, a sauna, a new sanitary block and a mini-zoo with piglets and pygmy goats that is the children's favourite attraction. The campsite is open from early April to mid-October and is a good base for cycling, riding and canoeing trips in the area; there is also a rate for solo travellers on foot or by bike. It is much appreciated for its warm atmosphere, the nature and the hands-on owner; in high season it is more festive than quiet. Dogs are welcome, with a dedicated beach.
