Dedicated naturist area

A campsite on the island of Werder, in the Plauer See, linked to the mainland by a bridge amid the woods of Mecklenburg: well over a kilometre of shoreline, pine trees, a jetty, a boat harbour and a beach. It is not a naturist site in the strict sense but a mixed campsite: the pitches are divided into a textile area, a mixed area and a genuine FKK area facing the water, with two sanitary blocks of its own and no federation card required. Most of the places are taken by seasonal campers, so those passing through find few free pitches and the atmosphere of a settled community; in front of the campsite, however, there is a motorhome area open all year round, 24 hours a day. There is a lakeside sauna with a plunge into the water, a small pub with evening events, a large playground and caravans for rent, including the historic GDR Qek models. It is also open in winter. The most frequently reported drawbacks: high prices for what it offers, a reception open only a few hours a day with the barrier closed outside those hours, and mosquitoes.
