Hotel Nude Zipolite & Beach Club

A 38-room hotel right on the beach at Zipolite, which the website presents as the only beach in Mexico where nudity is legal, on the Pacific coast of Oaxaca. It claims to have been the first hotel in the country to accept nudity inside the property as well: it is clothing optional in all areas except the restaurant, as the house rules specify, and it is adults only. It has two pools, one inside and one in the beach club on the sand, sun loungers, a restaurant with a bar and a small spa for massages; it also sells day passes for the beach club. Its character is openly party-minded by day and quiet at night, and guests confirm it: many complain about loud music until the evening, others enjoy the atmosphere. Opinions also differ on nudity: one guest in 2023 says they were almost the only nude person, while another in February 2026 found most guests nude at the pool, on the beach and in the restaurant. Recurring criticism concerns maintenance, hot water and management; the location is much appreciated.
