Naturism in Canada: laws and customs →
Nudity required

A naturist club run as an association, founded in 1964, on about 23 acres of rolling land in Beaver County, Alberta, between Edmonton and Tofield. Many members have a seasonal site, others come for the weekend or for the day. The centre of social life is the heated outdoor pool area, with a hot tub and sauna, joined since 2025 by a new pickleball court and a clubhouse renovated by the members themselves, where shared dinners, barbecues, karaoke nights and dances are organised; there are also nature trails. Accommodation is in tents, RVs or three small cabins with a kitchenette; there is no shop, so you have to bring your own food. The official rule is to be nude when possible and clothed when practical, and swimsuits are not expected. The season runs from May to September. Visitors are admitted by appointment only: first-timers fill in an online application (which asks for marital status and gender) and must confirm by phone at least a week in advance; couples and families must come together, so a married person cannot turn up alone. Guests almost always rate it excellent and describe a very welcoming and peaceful atmosphere, with long-standing members of more than 20 years. Affiliated with AANR.
