A naturist campsite on the southern shore of Lake Keutschach, in Carinthia (Austria), a few minutes from the better-known Wörthersee. Run by the FKK Kärntner Lichtbund association, the "Turkwiese" grounds have deliberately been kept largely unspoilt, with well-tended vegetation and a natural slope that spreads the pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes (up to 7 metres) over ample space, avoiding the crowded-campsite effect. On the grounds people are naked, except in bad weather; swimwear is tolerated for children and teenagers. Free swimming in the lake, a wooded area and walking trails, mountain hikes and bike rides towards Klagenfurt and Villach. You can only come to stay overnight, from May to September (minimum three nights in July and August): day visits are not possible at present. Men travelling alone are admitted only with an INF card, a card from the Austrian federation ÖNV or from a local FKK club; animals are not allowed. According to guests it is a very successful place, above all for the calm, the lake and the sunsets.
