A couples-only naturist retreat on a plateau of the Great Dividing Range, about 21 km from Toowoomba, in Queensland: 57 acres (around twenty hectares) of bushland overlooking the Lockyer Valley, run since 2002 by owners Harry and Shelley. You sleep in seven chalets and cabins (the most comfortable with bathroom and kitchenette, one wheelchair-accessible, three simpler ones near the amenities block) or in self-contained caravans and motorhomes on the few sites; tents are not allowed. There is a pool with a small sandy "beach", a covered spa, an outdoor kitchen and a common room. You need to bring your own food: the nearest town is about twenty kilometres away and the water is rainwater only. Nudity is compulsory, weather and health permitting; first-timers have 24 hours to get used to it with a sarong (this does not apply to day visitors), while no clothing is allowed in the pool and spa. Entry is by booking and invitation only, through a gate locked with a code. Only couples are welcome, including same-sex couples: single men are not admitted, nor are children and pets. The website states that it is not a swingers' venue. No activities are organised, apart from an optional drinks gathering at 5 pm: it is a place for those seeking silence and few guests. Those who have stayed (there are few accounts, the latest from 2024) praise the cleanliness, the hosts' hospitality and the wildlife, with kangaroos and many birds.
