Naturist (policy unspecified)

The largest naturist centre in Quebec, in Mauricie, with around 170 pitches spread through a conifer forest along the Batiscan River, where a beach and a small landing with canoes and kayaks lead straight down to the water. The core of the facilities is a communal building with a bar, a billiards room and an indoor hot tub, overlooking a terrace with a fountain, parasols and a heated outdoor pool; there is also mini golf and a volleyball court. A good share of the clientele is seasonal, with static caravans and people who spend the whole summer there. It needs to be said clearly because it makes a difference when choosing: this is not a family naturist campsite. Both those who like it and those who criticise it consistently describe it as a place that is naturist and libertine at the same time, without children and with very uninhibited weekends; it is also explicitly welcoming to LGBTQ+ guests. The recurring sore points are the prices, considered high for what it offers, and the upkeep of the facilities, which according to some has worsened since the change of ownership. Note: the site no longer has an active website, so for prices, opening times and rules you need to phone.
