Domaine naturiste de l'Origan

A naturist village on hillside terraces above the Var valley, at Puget-Théniers, an hour from Nice, between the Pre-Alps and the Mercantour park. A south-facing 4-star campsite with a heated pool and waterslide, tennis, a wellness area, a bar-restaurant and evening entertainment; it also organises guided "randonues" in the Provençal countryside. Accommodation is in wooden chalet-mobile homes, cottages, small villas, lodge tents or on pitches (a quiet tent area by the river, a panoramic one for caravans and motorhomes). Pets allowed only in certain units, with compulsory vaccination. A family atmosphere and a location much appreciated by guests, with an overall good verdict; recently, however, opinions have been divided on the upkeep of some rental units and on value for money. Suited to those looking for nature, hiking and village life rather than resort amenities.
