Nudity required

A large family naturist campsite in the Périgord Pourpre, in the Dordogne: 50 hectares of meadows, woods and a stream, with 165 very large pitches (at least 120 m²) spread over several sectors, 62 of which are accommodation units, mostly residential. Water is the main attraction: a 200 m² swimming pool in the middle of the meadow and a spring-fed lake with a sandy beach and wooden jetties to dive from; a second lake is reserved for catch-and-release fishing. Inside the domaine there are four waymarked trails through the woods, tennis, pétanque, volleyball and archery, a bar-restaurant, a grocery shop and a library, and outside the Dordogne valley, Saint-Émilion and Bergerac are within reach for day trips. In July and August the programme is busy: concerts on Wednesdays, dance evenings on Sundays, karaoke on Saturdays, the carnival in early August and activities for children, so in high season it is not the place for those seeking total silence. Nudity is required everywhere when the weather allows, with some leeway for teenagers. You can stay in a tent, caravan or motorhome, or in mobile homes, chalets and two wood-and-canvas cabins near the lake; dogs are allowed on a lead, but not in the lakes or the pool. Guests appreciate above all the space, the nature and the welcome; the most frequent criticisms concern some rental units found poorly kept, the limited wi-fi and the bar and restaurant being closed early in the season. Some also report that the paths and shared facilities are hard to use in a wheelchair.
