Naturism in France: laws and customs →
Nudity required

A three-star naturist campsite in south-west France, at the foot of the Pyrenees, between the Gers and the Hautes-Pyrénées: fifty hectares of meadows and woods with the river Gers running through them for more than a kilometre, forming small gravel beaches where you can swim, fish and set off by canoe. There are ninety-one pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes and twenty-nine rental units, from mobile homes and chalets to equipped tents and a gîte. The rest is what you would expect of a well-kept family campsite: heated pool, bar-restaurant with grocery shop, organic farm, kids' club, theme evenings, naked yoga, naturist hikes led by the owners and free sauna evenings. The same family has run it for over thirty years and recent guests remember them fondly by name: family atmosphere, warm welcome, real nature. Criticism, when there is any, always concerns the same things: the daily electricity surcharge, bar prices and some dated toilet blocks. Open from late April to mid-September.
