Naturist (policy unspecified)

A small one-hectare naturist campsite in Dutch Limburg, south of Weert and a few kilometres from the Belgian border, between Stramproy and Thorn. The land belongs to the B.N.R. foundation and is run by volunteers of the Naturistenvereniging Zuid association: most pitches are taken by permanent members, while for holidaymakers there are six guest pitches of 7–7.5 metres (tent, caravan or motorhome) plus a small tent pitch, to be requested by phone. Community life centres on the 8×12 pool, heated by solar panels and salt-disinfected, open from June; the pavilion with kitchen, reading corner and wood burner; and the large shelter where shared dinners at cost price are held from time to time. There are also jeu de boules, a trampoline and a swing, toilet facilities with an accessible WC, a washing machine and wifi; there is no restaurant and no entertainment. According to guests it is a well-kept and very quiet club, with a personal welcome and many regulars, and a good base for walking and cycling in the flat countryside around it; some note that the guest pitches are rather small. Guests are required to hold an NFN card, with an exception for first-time naturists who call ahead. Open from April to the end of September.
