Association-run naturist campsite a few kilometres south-east of Troyes, run by the volunteers of the Club du Soleil de Troyes, an association founded in 1949 and affiliated to the French Naturist Federation. The grounds, known as “Champ du Moulin”, cover about 9 hectares of wooded meadow between the Seine and a small quarry lake: from the campsite you walk down to a small private beach on the river, and on the lake you can go out in a pedalo or a boat and fish. The pitches are for tents, caravans and motorhomes; for rent there is a chalet for two people and two caravans for up to four. There is an outdoor pool with sunloungers, a small bar with a grocery corner, an outdoor fitness area, boules, badminton, basketball, table tennis and children's games; pets are allowed with their vaccination record. You can also come just for the day. To get in you need a licence from the FFN or another INF federation, which those without one can buy on arrival (for stays of under three days the daily federation stamp is enough). The club focuses on quiet, family-oriented naturism with no entertainment programme, and those passing through describe a relaxing, well-kept place with spotless washrooms and pool, also handy as a stopover on the way south; some, however, found there was little privacy between pitches and that some members were not always welcoming. The year's festivities (dinners, a dance evening in July, a boules tournament) are aimed at members.
