Association-run naturist campsite of the Club du Soleil de Mulhouse, a club affiliated to the FFN: the Centre naturiste Illfeld is in Réguisheim, halfway between Mulhouse and Colmar, on five and a half hectares of flat, wooded land along the River Ill, in open countryside and away from houses. The pitches, spacious and grassy, in sun or shade, with electricity, are for tents, caravans and motorhomes; there is a 15-metre swimming pool with a children's pool, a large common room with kitchen and fridges, a covered area for shared meals, barbecues, a bar, table tennis, volleyball, a trampoline, archery, boules and children's games. Nudity is compulsory on the grounds when the weather allows; to stay you need an FFN or INF licence, and anyone living within about a hundred kilometres must join the club after two visits. Dogs (except category 1 and 2 dogs) and cats are allowed on a lead. The club organises evening events, an open day and boules tournaments; many guests are Dutch and the clientele is mostly older. It is a good base for the cycle paths of the plain and the Vosges, the Wine Route and the castles of Alsace. Those who have stayed praise the pitches, the pool and the clean washrooms; some female guests and young couples, however, reported inappropriate stares and comments from some of the men who frequent the site.
