A large naturist centre in Quebec, with 260 pitches in the countryside near Drummondville, open seasonally and largely frequented by seasonal residents. It describes itself as family-friendly and revolves entirely around community life: the seasonal calendar is packed, with Friday bingo, pétanque, horseshoe, billiards, cribbage, pickleball and volleyball tournaments, evenings with live musicians, karaoke, Quebec's national holiday, a camper's Christmas in August and even an observation rally. The facilities are those of a well-equipped North American campground: two pools, one of them heated, with 145 loungers, a two-storey restaurant-bar, a convenience store with a liquor licence, four washroom blocks, two laundries, a community hall, a picnic area and sixty pull-through sites for large RVs, as well as areas for wild camping. Those without their own rig can rent chalets, trailers or motel rooms on the grounds, although more than one guest reports that the rooms need renovating. The season runs from Mother's Day, in early May, to late September, and closes with a non-naturist open day and open weekend. It is rated four stars by Camping Québec and is linked to the Fédération québécoise de naturisme, whose annual festival appears in the calendar. The clientele is mature, and some estimate that over ninety per cent of guests are over fifty: anyone looking for a young crowd or lots of children will probably not find it here.
