Nudity required

4-star naturist campsite on 30 hectares in Esparron-de-Verdon (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), above the turquoise Lake Esparron (329 hectares), in the Verdon Regional Park: two naturist coves on the lake can be reached on foot in 10-15 minutes along a naturist path that is steep and rocky, especially on the way back up, and there is no real beach at the bottom. It is a small campsite (72 pitches) on stony terraced ground, with cars left in the car park. Heated pool with panoramic terrace, a wellness area with spa and sauna, a bar, a restaurant using local produce open from early June to early September, and a small épicerie. Rental accommodation: one- or two-bedroom chalets (lake view or valley view), Premium chalets, cabanes du Trappeur and a safari tent; pitches for tents and for caravans/motorhomes/vans, with electricity and fridge extra (access is difficult for vehicles over 5 metres). Simple activities: pétanque, aquamouv, the aperando (a naturist walk with an aperitif by the lake), karaoke, lotto and games. Nudity is required as soon as the temperature allows; only children and teenagers may stay dressed, but not in the pool. The naturism is family-oriented: exhibitionism, voyeurism and swinging are prohibited and anyone engaging in them is asked to leave. Single men are admitted, provided they respect the rules. Pets are allowed for a fee, but not in the pool or the sanitary facilities. It is a member of the FFN and the FEN (Fédération des Espaces Naturistes). Those who have stayed speak very highly of it and praise the calm, the lake view and the food; guests are mostly couples.
