Camping naturiste Messidor

Family-run naturist campsite fifteen kilometres from Aix-en-Provence, on ten terraced hectares of woodland overlooking the Durance valley, on the edge of the Luberon regional park. The 85 pitches are large (about 100 m²), shaded or sunny, with electricity on 56 of them; alternatively there are mobile homes of various categories and two maisonnettes, all with a terrace. Pool, pétanque, a bar-restaurant with Provençal cooking by the owner and a summer programme of evenings with live music (tribute bands and concerts almost every week). Wifi is available only around the bar, by declared choice. Dogs are allowed on a lead. The location is excellent for Aix, the Luberon, the music festivals and the naturist beaches of Martigues or the calanque of Sugiton (50 minutes). Overall it is well liked, especially for the large pitches, the quiet and the food; some, however, report a "wild" and neglected look at certain times (pool maintenance, potholed access road).
