Nudity required

A family naturist campsite in the Dordogne, open from 15 April to 15 October (partly open in winter too, for heated chalets and motorhomers). 33 hectares around a valley with a spring, a stream, two small lakes and woodland, with a trail to walk naked through the meadows. 162 spacious pitches (cars stay in the car park at the entrance) and 22 chalets, 2 of them wheelchair accessible, plus safari tents. On site there are a heated pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi, a restaurant and a bar; in season a kids' club, boules tournaments, pub quizzes, games and themed evenings, while nearby there are traditional markets, canoe trips, castles and villages. Nudity is requested everywhere when the weather allows and is always compulsory in the pool; the rules tolerate a towel or sarong for teenagers. No naturist card is required and single men are welcomed like other guests; dogs are allowed, including in the accommodation, with a meadow where they can run free. The clientele is largely Dutch, like the management, which recently passed from the family that ran it for over thirty years to the next generation; some French guests complain of not feeling very welcome. Overall, the campsite is very well liked.
