Camping Naturiste Le Clos Marot

A club-run naturist campsite of ANCA (Association Naturiste de la Côte d'Amour), in the heart of the Guérande peninsula at Piriac-sur-Mer: 65 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes in a six-hectare wooded park, with three hectares of woodland crossed by a walking trail (no need to get dressed). Run by volunteers, it has a pool and jacuzzi, boules and badminton courts, archery, table tennis, table football, children's games, group barbecues, a TV room and a library, an organic herb garden where you can pick freely and free bike loans; bread is ordered in the morning and on Saturday evenings there is a welcome drink. The naturist beach of Pen Bron is seven kilometres away, reachable by bike. Open from mid-June to early September; it is an FFN partner and the federal licence is compulsory for everyone, so solo travellers must have one too (it can be obtained on site), and the association states that it accepts single people among its members only in limited numbers. Dogs and cats are allowed on a lead. It is a small, extremely well-kept and convivial place, with smiling volunteers and clean washrooms. Its distinguishing feature is the peace and quiet: silence is scrupulously respected, games stop around 10 pm even during organised evenings, and those looking for a lively campsite or one with music may find it too strict.
