A club-run naturist campsite, managed by the Club du Soleil de Clermont-Ferrand (over two hundred volunteer members), in the Puy-de-Dôme, in Auvergne, with views of the Chaîne des Puys. It offers a heated pool overlooking the panorama, a boules pitch, archery, walks within the grounds and free entertainment put on by the members, such as barbecue evenings; there is a small bar but no grocery shop. Pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes cannot be booked, while six mobile homes and two caravans are available to rent; dogs are allowed for a supplement, but not in the mobile homes. It opens from late May to late September. To stay you need a licence from the French (FFN) or international federation, or a federal day ticket; children's stays are free, courtesy of the club. The campsite holds the FFN quality label and has a stated environmental commitment. It wins high praise, especially for the volunteers' welcome and the tranquillity; some find the staff not very flexible with newcomers.
