Naturism in France: laws and customs →
Naturist (policy unspecified)

A small club-run naturist campsite in southern Burgundy, about fifteen kilometres from Mâcon: some twenty grassy pitches in the shade of trees, plus a few chalets and caravans for rent, run by the Club du Soleil Mâcon-Laizé association. It is a quiet, unpretentious place, suitable for those using the campsite as a base to explore the area — vineyards, wine cellars, the Rock of Solutré, the Blanot caves — and for those trying naturism for the first time: those who have stayed remember above all the friendly welcome and the relaxed atmosphere, and more than one guest says they stopped by chance and ended up staying. On site there are an indoor pool, a tennis court, pétanque, table tennis, children's games and a shared kitchen; day visits are also possible. The washrooms are clean but dated, and some find the price high for the level of facilities. The rules are explicit: no voyeurs or swingers.
