Camping naturiste Domaine de l'Escride

A small three-star naturist campsite in the pine forest of the Var, in the hills above Belgentier, twenty kilometres from Toulon and a short distance from three naturist beaches: the website presents it as the naturist centre closest to the coast between Marseille and Menton. The grounds hold fifty-four bare pitches laid out on terraces among pines and olive trees, supported by dry-stone walls, plus three studios, two chalets and a mobile home for rent. The focal point of the day is the pool with a paddling pool overlooking the wooded hills, though it is open only in July and August; there are also a tennis court, volleyball, pétanque, table tennis and table football. On site there is a food service with themed evenings and pizza, a washing machine and an ice service, while all the shops are one kilometre away. The season runs from mid-June to late September, and in July and August accommodation is rented Saturday to Saturday. Pets are allowed on the campsite but not in the chalets and studios; the steep, narrow layout of the land does not allow for accessible washrooms for disabled people and makes access difficult for longer motorhomes.
