Camping Naturiste Coteau de l'Herm

A small eight-hectare naturist campsite on the top and the south-facing slope of a hill in the Périgord Noir, between Périgueux and Sarlat and three kilometres from the village of Rouffignac. Since 2018 it has been run in person by Manja and Aschwin, a Dutch couple who used to holiday here before buying it. The camping area covers about one and a half hectares with fifty very large pitches, over a hundred square metres each, some in full sun and others under the trees, almost all overlooking the valley; the rest of the property is woodland and meadows crossed by marked naturist trails, some steep and others also manageable for those who have difficulty walking. As well as pitches, chalets, equipped caravans, a room and a tiny house are available to rent. At the centre of communal life are the fifteen-metre Zodiac pool with a lounger edge, a wood-fired Finnish kota sauna, the outdoor bar with terrace and lounge corner, and the group dinners organised a couple of times a week in high season. The grounds are almost car-free and the night-time silence must be respected: it is a place chosen above all for its peace and quiet. No federation card is required and nudity is a free choice everywhere, except in the pool where it is required. The price list includes rates for a single person; dogs are allowed on a lead, a maximum of two per pitch. The site displays the Dutch Prettig Bloot label from NFN Open en Bloot.
