Camping naturiste & chambres d'hôtes Le Rêve de Poulaines

A very small naturist campsite, half a hectare among the poplars of the Berry countryside, recently opened and run by two Dutch women, Inge and Robyn, who live on site. It combines grassy pitches with electric hook-up and three bed & breakfast rooms (chambres d'hôtes), and the clientele is largely Dutch: the website's main language is Dutch. Naturism here is not a rigid obligation: the owners state that they respect young people and those who are new to it or don't feel like being without clothes all the time, with the idea that everyone should feel at ease. On the grounds there is a pool with a terrace, a playground, a trampoline, table tennis, boules, a sandpit, a reading corner, an honesty bar, a small shop, barbecues and an evening meal service, as well as massages by appointment; shared dinners or group activities are organised regularly, but keeping to yourself is just as normal. Pets are allowed on a lead, for a small supplement. The location, twenty minutes from the A20 motorway and 250 km from Paris, makes it convenient both as a stopover and as a base for the ZooParc de Beauval, the Loire châteaux and local markets. The place is new and guest opinions are still few, but all are enthusiastic and agree on one point: the owners' hospitality.
