Camping Le Petit Dauphin

A small family naturist campsite (103 pitches) at Les Mathes/La Palmyre, on the Atlantic coast of Charente-Maritime, run by Annie and Régis. The heart of the site is the covered, heated pool (25-29°C), open all season; every evening the restaurant offers a themed menu with convivial dinners and music nights. The pitches (about 100 m², partly shaded) take tents, caravans and motorhomes; there are also mobile homes for rent in different comfort categories. The area is a good base for exploring the surroundings: the naturist beaches of the Côte Sauvage are a few kilometres away, and more than 100 km of cycle paths pass right in front of the campsite. The Luna Park amusement park (open only in July and August, 19:00-2:00, music until 23:30) is nearby — some mention the noise as the only drawback of an otherwise much-appreciated stay.
