A long-established, family-run naturist campsite (the de Graaf family) on the sunny slope of the Pressingberg, in the Leobengraben valley (Lieser-Maltatal), in Carinthia, with the upper part of the grounds inside the Nockberge park. Open since the summer of 1959, it is one of the largest FKK grounds in Austria by area: almost 75 hectares between 1000 and 1600 metres above sea level, with grassy terraces stepping down the hillside, some sunny and others shaded by the woods, and views over the valley and the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern. There are pitches for tents and caravans/motorhomes (230V hook-up) and a few wooden cabins sleeping 4 or 6 (no running water, with an electric hob and crockery included; bring your own linen); in July and August they are rented by the week only. Day visits are also possible. The access road, unpaved and steep, cannot be driven with a trailer, which is towed up by a tractor. Since 2008 the owners have deliberately welcomed only a few guests and ask you to phone or write before setting off: the place is designed for those who hike and cycle in the mountains and for those seeking absolute silence. Those who have stayed describe an isolated, panoramic spot, often with very few other guests, and advise following the local signs rather than the satnav. The official website has not been updated since 2014 (price list valid "from 2008 to 2014"), but guests' accounts confirm that the campsite is operating.
