Camping Freizeitzentrum Schwarzlsee

A campsite inside the Freizeitzentrum Schwarzl, the large leisure centre on a former gravel-pit lake south of Graz, close to the airport and the motorway. It is an ordinary campsite, largely taken up by static caravans with awnings and small gardens; the naturist part is a fenced area in the northern section of the lake, with FKK pitches (mostly seasonal) that open directly onto the FKK beach, which is large and separate from the one used by bathers in swimsuits. Those passing through will find pitches for tents and caravans on a meadow, renovated washrooms and a very full sports programme: water skiing and wakeboarding, SUP, pedal boats, an inflatable water park, beach volleyball, padel and kilometres of trails around the lake for running and cycling; it is also a stop for those cycling the Mur cycle path. Opinions are divided: the lake and the new washrooms are liked, but many find the prices high and the spaces for short stays poorly kept, squeezed between the permanent pitches. Dogs and other animals are not allowed.
