The members-run naturist campsite of the Club du Soleil de Poitiers, "La Pardière": ten hectares of woodland at Château-Larcher — a village classified as a Petite Cité de Caractère — some twenty-five kilometres south of Poitiers and Futuroscope. The pitches are spacious and shaded under the oaks; there is a very well-kept swimming pool, three chalets for rent (Tournesols, Lilas, Coquelicots), woodland paths, a clearing for meditation, a library, games for children and adults, a shared barbecue and two communal vegetable gardens from which guests can pick herbs and vegetables. The club promotes "human-scale" ecotourism, with careful water management; guests are welcomed by the association's volunteers, who order bread in the morning and organise the occasional convivial dinner. The rules ask guests to respect the peace of the campsite and require full nudity when weather and circumstances permit; adults are asked for a card from the FFN or another federation belonging to the INF, or alternatively must pay for a federal day ticket. Affiliated with the FFN. Open from late June to early September. The volunteers' welcome, the cleanliness, the tranquillity and the beauty of the woods are unanimously appreciated.
