Nudity required

A terraced naturist campsite on a wooded hillside in the municipality of Sassello, in the hinterland of Savona, at 400 metres above sea level and just 24 km from the sea and the ferries to Corsica. It borders the Beigua Natural Park (UNESCO heritage): it is not unusual to spot falcons, red deer and roe deer beyond the campsite boundary. The heart of campsite life is the outdoor infinity pool with a panoramic sun terrace and poolside bar, recently renovated together with the toilet block; on clear days the view stretches as far as the Maritime Alps and Monviso. There are 40 pitches and a few units for rent (mobile homes, bungalows and wooden chalets). Nudity is compulsory throughout the campsite, weather permitting. The atmosphere is friendly but very quiet: guests stress the silence and seclusion in the woods, while shared dinners and events open to all are held at regular intervals. The nearest village with shops is a few kilometres away and you need your own transport. Pets are welcome (on a lead, not in the pool). Those coming alone for the day must hold a FENAIT/INF card that has been valid for at least one year. Open from mid-April to early October. Overall, opinions are positive.
