Athena Le Perron

A 4.5-hectare naturist ground of the Athena association in the Belgian Ardennes (Waimes), at 540 metres above sea level with views over the Warche valley, near the High Fens. You can camp from April to September in your own tent, caravan or motorhome (all pitches have electricity), or sleep in barrel-shaped wooden pods (bookable all year round) or in a safari tent. Two sanitary buildings, the first renovated in 2026. Heated pool, clubhouse with bar, pizzas and snacks, pétanque courts (with a regular afternoon game), Wi-Fi at the clubhouse, grounds almost free of cars. For children there is a playground with a trampoline, a paddling pool, nature to play in and activities in season. Dogs not allowed. Also open to day visitors, with a ticket for non-members. The place focuses on peace and quiet rather than entertainment, and guests confirm this; around it are footpaths, the Vennbahn cycle route and mountain bike trails, and cross-country skiing in winter. In August 2026 the campsite was closed for a few days because of smoke from the large High Fens wildfire and reopened on 24 August.
